Principal Investigator
Dr. Yu-Te HSU | 徐有德
Dr. Hsu holds a BSc in Materials Science & Engineering from National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) and MSc in Materials Physics and Nanotechnology from Linköping University (LiU), through the LiU-NTHU bilateral exchange program. Dr. Hsu receives his PhD from the University of Cambridge for investigating the electronic structure of high-Tc copper oxide superconductor YBa2Cu3O6+x and Kondo insulator SmB6 using high magnetic fields, under the supervision of Prof. Suchitra Sebastian. In autumn 2018, he moved to Radboud University in the Netherlands as a postdoc, under the supervision of Prof. Nigel Hussey, to study the magnetotransport properties of unconventional superconductors and topological semimetals. He joined the Department of Physics at NTHU in spring 2024. His current research focuses on understanding the emergent properties of oxide superconductors and correlated insulators by means of transport and thermodynamic experiments.
